Restorative Care

While often taken for granted, a healthy smile is sorely missed when it is lost. Dr. Cleveland and Dr. Culley can rebuild smiles, however small or advanced the damage may be, through proven restorative methods. Fillings, crown and bridge systems, or full-mouth reconstruction can greatly improve worn and damaged smiles.  If you think your smile is beyond repair, then call us to schedule a consultation. At Darby Creek Dental, we'll improve your smile, oral health, and quality of life with comfortable, aesthetic restorative dental care.

We offer these dependable restorative options:

  • Fillings

One of the most commonly performed dental procedures is also one of the most important. Filling cavities stops the spread of tooth-eroding decay and preserves healthy tooth structure. Dr. Cleveland and Dr. Culley can use tooth-colored composite resin for an inconspicuous repair.  With our patient comfort measures, you will stay relaxed and comfortable throughout your procedures.

  • Crowns

When a severely decayed or broken tooth threatens your smile’s appearance and function, experience the restorative power of a custom-fit crown. A crown, constructed entirely from porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or precious metal, covers imperfections while maintaining your original tooth’s look, feel, and usefulness. We work with a trusted laboratory to craft the crown just for you, so it will fit well and blend with your existing teeth.

  • Bridges

If you’ve lost several teeth in a row, we can fit you with a crown and bridge system to fill that unsightly space. First, we will place a crown on either side of the gap. These prepared abutment teeth will anchor a row of fused false teeth called a bridge, which look and work like natural teeth. For reliable gap repair, there’s no better fix then a crown and bridge system!

  • Full Mouth Reconstruction

Extensively damaged smiles do not intimidate us – we will expertly reconstruct the smile you’ve lost from injury or decay so that you can smile with confidence again. We will listen to your concerns and smile goals so that we can plan your spectacular smile comeback for the results you want. Your custom treatment plan may include prosthetics, crowns, a bridge, dental implants, fillings, or some of our cosmetic dental procedures. Dr. Cleveland and Dr. Culley will explain his recommendations, and then help you decide which options are best for your unique case.

  • Implant Restoration

Dental implants are permanent prosthetics that replace missing teeth for a full, beautiful smile, as well as optimal oral function. Dr. Cleveland and Dr Culley work closely with a talented oral surgeon for implant placement.  The implant is then restored with a custom crown in our office.  Don’t abandon your perfect smile or your investment; let us restore your dental implants to their initial, flawless appearance.

  • Dentures and Partials

  • If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether from periodontal disease, tooth decay or injury, dentures or partials can replace your missing teeth and give you a new smile. Replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health. Without support from the denture, facial muscles sag, making a person look older. You’ll be able to eat and speak—things that people often take for granted until their natural teeth are lost.

  • Root Canals

If tooth decay progresses, it can cause a dangerous sub-surface infection that may spread to neighboring teeth. To stop this painful condition, Dr. Cleveland or Dr. Culley can perform a root canal, which involves removing inflamed nerve tissue and replacing it with a natural material. Combined with modern anesthesia, our electric rotary tools allow the patient to stay comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure.
